seashell bathroom decor

for the first project we are going to need this dollar play sand set. we're just going to use the sailboat i like it very much because of all the details it has. we are going to disarm all the pieces to start working on its transformation i did not like the yellow color that the sailboat had, so i decided to paint it i use my waverly chalk paint in this color to match the rest of the summer decoration i am making. you must give 2 coats of paint then i will also paint the hull of the sailboat use dark brown paint and with my brush try to create a wooden look to the hull of the sailboat. then with a rope, i want to relate the mast of the sailboat i'm also going to hit the rope on the wind vane, which is usually where a small flag is placed then i will put a rope on the edges and all the details that have the mainsail and the jib sail

now, as our sailboat is a toy plastic, i'm going to stick stones in the corners to make it heavier and more stable finally, it is time to assemble all the parts of the sailboat i wanted to put hot glue on the mast when i hit it so it would be much stronger i wanted to have a sailboat as part of my decoration for this summer and now it looks a lot more than it is i managed to make this project with only $ 1.00 because the rope and the paintings i already had in my house for the second project i will need a glass jar. i got it at dollar tree and it's beautiful for all the details it has you can do too many things with him and i'll show you one of them here first let's paint our glass jar with my waverly chalk paint in white i gave two paint coat to my whole jar

once it is completely dry, i will use a sandpaper to create a distress look i'm going to focus on sanding all the edges and the details that the jar has the more sands, the more distress look will stay, but you can also sanding just a little bit and you will see well. that depends on the taste of each person once we finish sanding, i will hit the rope to the jar and give it several laps. i love the touch it gives. now we are going to need some branches of trees, these i got them in the patio of my house to paint them you can use spray in color but i wanted it to be the most cost-effective and use the paint i already had in my house once you are painting it you must be careful with the thinnest branches to avoid splitting so much and it's okay if you do not cover all the branches with paint. for me they look very good too once they are dry you can put them inside the jar, i used more branches to fill some spaces i also decided to paste them to avoid being moved from place

i got these dollar tree shells, so i'm finally going to stick several on the branches t is important to stick the shells on the thicker branches to prevent the weight of the shells from breaking them once we finish our two projects, this would be the final result, i hope you like them remember to follow me on my social media instagram and facebook, i leave here on screen and in the description of the video
